An 11-year-old table tennis player, Denis Adeleye, is set to represent Nigeria at the African Junior Table Tennis Championship which will hold in Morocco in October, 2016.
Ekiti-State born Adeleye, whose preparation for the competition is at top gear, visited the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, at the governor’s office at Ado-Ekiti, on Thursday and expressed hope of returning victorious.
Governor Fayose in his response promised to support Adeleye despite the limited resources of the State government.
After the meeting with Governor Fayose, young and talented Adeleye told newsmen that he would do all possible to make Nigeria proud.
