A 21 year-old accused of stabbing her boyfriend 22 times has been crowned Miss Langata prison.
Ruth Kamande is facing murder charges following the death of her boyfriend Farid Ahmed, over love triangle in Buru Buru estate in 2015.
Ruth beat 19 other contestants to win the annual beauty pageant.
Mohammed sustained stab wounds on his back, stomach, chest and neck. He died in hospital while undergoing treatment for the multiple stab wounds.
Ruth also sustained stab wounds on her stomach, right thigh and left hand during the incident
